Joyce Payne Pottery

My handbuilt mugs are made using a combination of slab, wheel thrown, and extruded  pieces. The body of the mug is constructed from a highly textured slab, the lip of the mug is thrown on the wheel and the handle is extruded. The body of the mug is rubbed with oxides and/or stains for colouring. The inside and lip of the mug are glazed for functional use.
